I met you at the entrance
To my garden
You handed me seeds to plant
Asked me to grow
Beautiful flowers
So we could watch them bloom
But, you were impatient
You trespassed
Into my garden
Before my flowers
Had a chance to bloom
You cut down
Every flower
I had ever planted
Then bragged
About your landscaping job
I built a tall fence
So people couldn’t see
What you’d done
They may mistake
My private garden
For a public park
